An argument between two men lead to a Friday night shooting at the Rock Creek Terrace apartments, said police.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the chest from the fight, said Detective Capt. Steven Sabo. He was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was released later that night.

Police reported that the shooting occurred on the property at roughly 7 p.m. A neighbor called police after hearing gunshots.

The shooter is still on the loose, said Sabo.

Police said they could not release further details because the incident is still under investigation.
