The Bergen Family Center began to celebrate its position as the county’s oldest continuously operating family service agency with a 110th Kick-off Celebration on March 14 at the Englewood Field Club.

This event gave guests the opportunity to enjoy cocktails, buffet and music by the Freddy Macs at the traditional Englewood Field Club.

Bergen Family Center has made the news since 1905, and even more so since its logo changed in 2002. Whether celebrating selection as one of the state’s 20 Family Success Centers, making headlines with its Reggio Emilia Pre-K program and Mid-Atlantic Conference of March 1, creating "the Zone," the exciting teen drop-in center at Dwight Morrow High School, being selected by PNC/Quick Chek for BFC children to frolic within their rainbow balloon, celebrating a 100-year-old’s birthday in the Shining Lights program or counseling victims of domestic violence – BFC makes news.
