NORTHERN VALLEY — A recent graduate of Northern Valley Old Tappan, Norwood resident Nick Magaraci, was found Saturday, Jan. 26 hanged in his apartment off campus at Wagner College in Staten Island.

"The college community was greatly saddened at Nick Magaraci’s death. Our thoughts went out to his family, friends, frat brothers and teammates on Wagner College’s wrestling team," said Wagner College Media Relations Director Lee Manchester.

Counseling services were made available for students at both Wagner and Northern Valley High School.

As of press time the cause of death was still under investigation.
